The Sexton Family

Right before an impromptu trip back home to Wisconsin earlier this month, I was on the phone with my high school best friend. Her mom asked if I could take their family portraits while visiting, and of course I said yes. It was perfect timing since the oldest two were moving to Virginia later in the week.

Of course it's always fun to work with people I know, but this session now holds a dear place in my heart. A little back story.... I was at their house multiples times a week hanging out with my best friend. The Sexton family modeled generosity quite frequently, as they were always feeding someone outside of their family. They were, and still are, role models for me for countless things. In my sophomore year of high school, I snapped one quick photo of their family for them. Taking their updated family photos made me realize just how far I've come in not only my photography, but taking care of my clients. It warmed my heart to be able to catch up with them and see how much the youngest two have grown.

Thank you Sexton Family for trusting me with these memories!
