Solemn High Latin at St MAry's catholic church inplatteville, wi
On June 29th I had the pleasure of photographing a Solemn High Latin Mass at my home parish, St Mary's, in Platteville, WI. This Mass was especially important to me and to fellow parishioners as it was Fr John Blewett's last Mass as Pastor in Platteville before he moved parishes to serve the Wisconsin Dells area. We also welcomed Fr Greg Ihm as the new Pastor of the surrounding pastorate.
To simply put it, the Mass was wondrous, the choir had angelic voices, and there were more Priests, Deacons, Seminarians, and servers than you could count on your fingers and toes. Truly beautiful.
