What I’ve been doing in quarantine

During the current global panic, I have been staying home along with everyone else on the planet. As I’m still in school, I’ve used plenty of my time to keep up with my work. Aside from that, here are a few things that I’ve been doing:

  •    Taken self-care more seriously. It’s crucial to take care of your mental state, especially when being stuck at home with the temptation to just sit and watch TV all day. Journaling, reading, and exercising have been my favorites so far. I’ve regained my love for reading. I recently read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and thoroughly enjoyed it (highly recommend) and I am currently reading the "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling.
  •    I’ve started to take some pictures of everyday things with both my film and digital cameras. These Pictures range from my horse Digger, to my favorite childhood bridge and stream.
  • Recently I've dipped my toes into the world of self-portraits.
  •    Worked on lots of behind the scenes for the photography. Lots goes into a business, so I’ve taken the time to asses and organize everything!
  •     I’m extremely grateful that my horses are at home and I get to ride my handsome horse every day.
  •     I started taking walks and runs with my doggo, and we both enjoy them very much!
  •     In the first week of quarantine, I deep cleaned my entire room!
  • I have been keeping active and busy riding and taking care of my horse, Digger, since I'm very fortunate to keep him at home.

I will say that I’m honestly surprised that I have watched less Netflix than I do when not stuck at home 24/7! Another note: My dog, Crissy, has been extremely happy that me and my family have been home for several weeks!
